Sometimes

Short Film

At its core, Sometimes is a study of dynamics and energy triggered by destruction. The project was inspired by the tragic events of September 11, while also drawing reference from the explosive finale of Michelangelo Antonioni’s Zabriskie Point.

While acknowledging the reference to September 11 and the global fascination with the collapse of the Twin Towers, the film offers a physical analysis of destruction, deliberately stripped of political context. It poses a profound question: “Can evolution arise from de-struction?”

The short film was awarded First Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (Labo Selection).
