Netlag

Video Installation

NETLAG is a project featuring 1,609 outdoor live webcams from around the world. Each camera captured an image every 10 minutes from January 29, 2004, at 18:40 GMT to January 30, 2004, at 18:40 GMT. The goal was to create a world map composed of live HD webcam feeds, highlighting the technological dominance of certain continents compared to others.

This video installation was commissioned by the museum La Ferme du Buisson in Noisiel, France, and was also exhibited at La Gaîté Lyrique in Paris during the 2062 exhibition.
